In Loving Memory of Eric Smith
Alums, Current Members and Friends,
Unfortunately, I inform you today of some somber news. This past Sunday, June 12th, Eric Smith died in an automobile accident. Eric was a graduate of our program and a member of Gamma Iota Sigma. He graduated last month on May 12th and already started working in the risk management department at Lockheed Martin in Cherry Hill, NJ. Some of you may have also interacted with him in his role as a TA. Working as a TA for me, Eric provided support for RMI 2101 and 3504 in Fall 2010 and RMI 3502 in Spring 2011. Having the opportunity to work closely with Eric, I found him to be a very bright, sincere, and ethical young man. In addition, he was a hard worker and strong student. He will be missed. It is a tragedy that a life with so much promise ends so prematurely. Please keep Eric and his family in your thoughts.
Regards,
Michael McCloskey
